Or someone else has a key and uses it only to mess with our settings. My wife uses seat memory 1, I use seat memory 3. It's (supposedly) tied to our keys so whomever's key unlocks the driver door, the seat/mirrors move to their position. Except it doesn't.
Hers will continuously default to some other location with the seat way back, but at least it keeps her original memory (1) intact. When I get in, it moves haphazardly to god-knows-who-set-this location, then resets my memory (3) to something much further back and lower than I would ever care to set it.
Anyone seen this before? Thoughts?

My old S40 never had this problem because it didn't have the power seats, but did have a couple other other electrical gremlins. For example, the headlights could not be turned off, and the engine had some strange on and off days with the turbo and computer. The electrics weren't the best on that car.
